Declarations and Bylaws

Several years ago, the Echo Lake HOA board worked with legal counsel to update our Bylaws and Declarations of Covenants and Restrictions because they had not been edited since first drafted in 1989. The current documents no longer align with Ohio Revised Code and they can put us at risk of liability in certain situations.

75% approval is required to adopt the revised documents. It has been extremely difficult to get 75% of our residents to turn in the signed proxies so we can adopt these documents. While we continue to work towards final approval, we have provided on this page the original documents, a redline version, a clean future copy, and a proxy form that can be filled out and mailed to our management company.
